Prep Time: 20 minutes

Serves: 4

Burger Patty:

  • 1-1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Sauce:

  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 Tbsp relish

Assembly:

  • 1 (12-ct) package sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 6 slices sharp yellow cheddar cheese

Preparation:

To make the burger patty, mix together the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder in a bowl.

Transfer the ground beef mixture to a small sheet pan or a cookie sheet with a lip. Flatten it out into an 8” x 10” burger patty and bake for 15 minutes.

To make the sauce, while the sliders are baking, mix together the ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, and relish in a small bowl and set aside.

To assemble, slice the rolls in half, leaving all the rolls attached to each other, so that you have a top and a bottom.

Once the burger patty is cooked, place it on the bottom half of the rolls and transfer to a clean cookie sheet. Top the burger patty with the 6 slices of cheese, allowing them to overlap.

Spread the sauce on the top half of the rolls and place this on top of the burger patty and cheese slices. Return the assembled patty and rolls to the oven for about 5 minutes, until the cheese melts. Remove from the oven and cut the 12 rolls apart to make 12 individual sliders.
