Serves: Makes 8
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place the pie dough mix into the bowl of a food processor.
Add the 2 Tbsp butter.
Pulse the pie dough mix with the butter until the butter has been broken up into tiny pieces.
Add the water and pulse again until the mix is crumbly and in small pieces.
Place the mixture on a work surface and knead it together into a ball.
Shape it into a 1" wide by 4" long log.
Cut it into 8 pieces.
Press each piece into the bottom of each canning jar to form a crust.
Place the jars on a baking sheet.
Divide the pecans between each of the jars.
Melt the remaining 1/4 cup of butter.
Pour it into a bowl.
Add the maple syrup, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the butter and whisk together.
Divide that mixture between the jars. Bake for 20–25 minutes.
