Buffalo Turkey Dip

David Venable

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 8 oz of room-temperature cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup of hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup of sour cream
  • 3 cups of pulled turkey meat, fully cooked
  • 1/2 cup of blue cheese, crumbled--leave a little for the top of the dip after it is in the dish to put on top once it is cooked (about 2 Tbsp)
  • 1/2 cup chopped scallions (green onions)
  • Carrot and celery sticks, for serving

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Spray a 2-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.

In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, hot sauce, blue cheese, and sour cream until combined.

Gently fold in the turkey.

Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.

Bake the dip for about 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Sprinkle the scallions and the rest of the blue cheese crumbles on top of the hot dip.

Serve with the carrots and celery.

Cook's Notes

Use your leftover turkey meat from Thanksgiving for this Dip. You can serve this in a bread bowl or with celery, carrots, crackers, and/or pretzels. You can also replace the hot sauce with Sriracha chili sauce.
